Come and canvass some doors with your friendly neighborhood firefighters!

Bill Copeland, a prominent firefighter, former union leader, and member of the BCA, won the mayor's seat in 1987 and served 3 successful terms until 1996. During his first term in 1988, he served his community bravely by helping evacuate Burnaby citizens during the catastrophic Station Square roof collapse, before being injured himself.

Come out to take part in the firefighters' tradition of political involvement. We'll have a crew of volunteers and local firefighters hitting the streets and talking to Burnaby residents about how they feel about their city. Whether you're a canvassing whiz or a first-timer, we'll make sure you're trained up and knowledgeable on how to navigate these types of conversations, and we'd love you to join us.
