Overview:
Join us for Ward 13 Environment Day, a community event dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the event by assisting with various tasks throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Setup Assistance: Help with setting up the event space, including arranging tables, chairs, and signage.
Food and Drink Facilitation: Assist in managing and distributing refreshments to attendees.
Resident Support: Guide residents through recycling processes and assist those collecting compost for their gardens.
Event Facilitation: Engage with participants to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Takedown and Cleanup: Aid in dismantling event setups and packing up materials at the end of the event.
Requirements:
Enthusiasm for environmental sustainability and community engagement
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Good communication skills
Physical ability to assist with setup and takedown tasks
