Mini-forest stewardship is back in session! After a successful round of invasive plant removal at the mini-forest in Morton Park, we are back for another round of Mini-forest stewardship! Come join us on Thursday, July 16, where at 4pm we will meet at Dundas Valley Montessori School, located at 14 Kemp Dr, Dundas. We will learn about the importance of mini-forests, their design and maintenance, plus tree and plant identification. Our tasks will include removing invasive weeds, pruning dead branches, picking up litter and mulching priority areas, going up to 6pm. Please remember to bring comfortable, outdoor clothes, a water bottle, and we will supply the rest!
