Our EcoHouse sits on 2 acres featuring Hamilton’s first community garden, a mini-forest, rain gardens, solar panels, permeable pavers, and more. These grounds require ongoing maintenance to continue serving as an ecological demonstration space for the community.
Come to volunteer with us on May 26, 2026 at EcoHouse from 5:00 to 6:30 pm to weed and pick up litter spruce up the gardens for spring! We will be practising plant identification, learning about biodiversity in the local community, plant science, local green infrastructure initiatives, and more! Future stewardship will involve mulching, watering, seed sorting, aerating the soil, and other maintenance.
No experience required! All tools provided, but you may bring your own.
We will be meeting every Tuesday from 5:00 pm-6:30 pm at EcoHouse, 22 Veevers Dr, Hamilton.
