This week we will be focusing on mini-forest stewardship at Morton Park. Come join us on Thursday, July 9th, where at 4pm we will meet in front of the playground equipment at 55 Larraine Avenue. We will learn about the importance of mini-forests, their design and maintenance, plus tree identification. Our tasks will include removing invasive weeds, pruning dead branches, picking up litter and mulching priority areas, going up to 6pm. Please remember to bring comfortable, outdoor clothes, a water bottle, and we will supply the rest!
