Seedling Zone VIRTUAL TRAINING DATE – Seedy Saturday

This VIRTUAL training shift is the prerequisite to volunteering at the Seedling Zone (children's area) at the 15th Annual Seedy Saturday event. Please only sign up if you will volunteer at the event afterward. Please read BOTH descriptions below.

Training date: January 27, 2026, 5-6pm, VIRTUAL
This training is MANDATORY for those wishing to volunteer in the seedling zone. See details of that opportunity below.

Event date: February 7th, 2026, 9 am to 3:30 pm, at the Central HPL 55 York Blvd.
Requirements: those 18+ will need to submit a criminal background check
Capacity: 6 volunteers
Note: high school students are prioritized for this opportunity. Do not sign up for the training shift if you cannot attend the event.

Volunteers in the Seedling Zone will help set up the kids activity stations, engage meaningfully with children and families through eco educational activities (don't worry, we will train you on these activities), and help to clean up after the event ends.
